Oil On Canvas or Wood Paintings
The following images contain oil paintings. Each painting has its own story, however most of the paintings were simply experimental. The details of each painting are laid out in the description. There are more images coming soon.
During the time I created this painting I had a nasty bruise on my arm from donating blood during a blood drive, hence the name of the painting. This is the first painting I decided to use scrap canvas on top of a stretched out canvas. The scrap canvas is held on merely by painters tape. Considering how long ago I created this painting I am still surprised that the tape is still holding strong.
Each one of these paintings are Untitled, both of them are paintings one and two out of three in the themed series called "The Hands."
This piece contains two canvas' to give the illusion of one canvas. "Midnight" is one of many paintings that I consider experimental. In this case I was testing the use of canvas scraps glued on top of another canvas. I wanted to try making a 3-dimensional image using only paint and canvas.
